The music of HIDDEN PLACES combines classic British blues influences with jazz-rock stylings and a touch of psychedelic experimentation. With a basic lineup of electric guitar, electric bass, and acoustic drums, the band adopts an improvisational approach whereby song lengths could vary by as much as several minutes from one performance to the next.

On the recording THE HIDING PLACE, the band is 'live' in the studio with no overdubs. Any musical 'accidents' that occur are left in intentionally.

My later recordings are solo guitar or guitars, with devices, employing a new tuning system. The pieces are textural, thematic, and improvisational. They are categorically ambient and electronic.
