The URL for this site was previously The McGlathery Genealogical Homepage. After careful consideration, I decided to modify the nature of my study. The new site, once known as The Five Family Focus is now known as A Global Focus to reflect the universal nature of the project. The old frame was replaced in April 1999 with one that does not take up too much room (see below). I am Samuel Lyon McGlathery. My hobbies include swimming, genealogy, and history. Recently, I have been interested in the internet and Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) for some time now. My interest in genealogy initailly got me interested in the internet.
