My Fortune Cookie Fortunes Page
I love Chinese food. And to me, one of the best parts of a good Chinese meal is the fortune cookie at the end. Over the years, I've saved some of my favorite fortunes, which I list here.
E-mail me your favorite fortunes and I might include them. Send me your name and hometown as well and I'll put them in too, if you like. If you've got a home page, cite the URL and I will include a link to it from your favorite fortune.

- And this good cookie fortune story. On our first date in 1979, my now husband and I went for our favorite food, Chinese. We decided to read out loud our fortunes from our cookies. Mine read: "You will make a great boss." My date's read: "Your wife will be your boss." We carried these with us for years, until they became so tattered they had to be stored in a baggy. Mr. and Mrs. Mann, Lake Oswego, Oregon.
An amusing fortune game
Here's a fun little game to play with fortune cookie fortunes that a former boss taught me. When out with a group, go around the table having everybody read their fortunes in turn and tacking the words "in bed" onto the end. The results are usually a hoot.
