I felt obligated to write the following message to KoRn and to who ever else might come across this page. First off, alot of you will
remember "Josh's KoRn Page" being here but I have since taken down my KoRn page after nearly 12 years of being online. I had such a good
run and I felt that it was time to pass the torch on to younger KoRn fans that have the time to keep up to date with KoRn's every move and
be able to post better news for all the KoRn fans out there. That aside I have to say that my feelings for KoRn have changed. I still love
the band very much and I always will, nothing will change that. However... I have to express how I feel towards the way KoRn is changing
their style and sound. I am all for moving on with your life and I would never expect Jonathan to continue to write sad or pissed off lyrics from his
past. How could he? He has so much now to be thankful for... BUT.. what bothers me is how he is now letting pop producers help write not
only the music but the lyrics. See... that is not the KoRn I remember from years past... Lyrics are something very personal and I always
respected Jonathan Davis for expresing how he felt, how raw and emotional the lyrics used to be. Thats one of the main things that drew me
into KoRn in the first place. Though now it seems too much is changing... they always have some replacement guitar player and drummer, as
well as a backup singer, and other random backup band members... That to me takes away from the magic of what KoRn is... I dunno, I just
can't get into their new stuff. I will forever love KoRn, they have done so much for me over the years, gotten me through so much shit from
my past. That is why I got my KoRn tattoo.. as a way of always being able to look back on my life and remember what got me through those
bad times. I don't want anyone to think I hate KoRn because I don't, I am just disappointed with the way they are going with their music.
With the loss of Head and David... it just doesn't seem right anymore. I am glad they are pressing on and making music without them but
I feel they are changing too much. Some change is good, but I just can't get into what they are doing now. To KoRn... I just want to say
I love you guys... I just pray you don't forget your roots and stray too far away from what made you what you are today. Don't sell out just
to fit into whats popular... I fear thats the path you're headed down. I will always be a fan, I will always be greatful, so with that said
I wish you all the best in the future.
A long time fan from the beginning.... - Josh
