We were in this area on our third and fourth trail days. Our second night was at Sawmill Camp, near the upper right. We went by way of Commanche Peak to Mt. Phillips camp, our highest point. On our fourth day, we descended the west side of Mt. Philips, spent several hours at Clear Creek Camp, then spent the night with the mosquitos at Comanche Camp.
