This is Philmont as most people don't get to see it. I took this picture on a flight from St. Louis to Phoenix about a month after Troop 104's trek to Philmont. No, it isn't great, but you can see some things.
The Tooth of Time Ridge runs near the bottom of the picture. You can just make out the Tooth of Time itself. The base camp is near the lower left corner at the edge of the Tooth Ridge. Just above the left half of Tooth Ridge is Urraca Mesa.
The water at the center bottom is Webster Reservoir.
I believe that the light spot at the very bottom right is Window Rock. The dark valley above it leads to Cimarroncito Reservoir.
The light green line running from the center right edge is the valley leading down from Beaubien. Beaubien is just off the edge of the picture.
