Setting Up Your New Web Hosting Account
In brief, setting up your new account involves the following steps. Quick links to the relevant

- Setting Up Internet Access (PPP dialup) -- Optional for Standard and Advanced Web Hosting accounts.
If you need additional assistance in setting up your PPP access,
please call Prairienet Member Services office
at 244-1962 (1:30-4:30pm, M-F).
- E-mail Setup Instructions
Even if your don't require e-mail as part of your account, please be aware
that account renewal notices and other administrative and technical updates are
ONLY sent via e-mail to the account address. The account manager is
responsible for monitoring the account's e-mail.
- Basic Web Site Setup --
You will need to use a secure FTP program
to upload your files to the public_html directory.
