  Panel Discussion: UMS teachers lead us in a discussion of "the big picture" at UMS, including grade-level goals, hopes for the year, special trips and more. Participating UMS teachers include Tracy Welch (6th Grade), Judith Pece (7th Grade), Jeremy Darnell (7th Grade), Laura Hlinka (8th Grade), and Mary Beth Niles (8th Grade).

  Discussion with UMS Administrators: Communication: Daily to Disaster
  UMS administrators talk to parents about vital communication links between school and home when situations of minor concern occur, and what plans are in place for major incidents. Time for questions and discussion is scheduled. We'll find out when and why the Urbana police are called to the school, how we can improve the pizza hangout situation across the street, and the measures being taken to keep our children safe at school.
