Come meet new people, make new friends, and have some fun! This is our ultimate goal!! New to the Club, but not to the area, fantastic! We want your friendship and your knowledge about what is great and available, so please partake in this section of the Club.

We are starting off 2007 with a Wine & Cheese Reception and a wonderful lakeside view at Ann Long’s home. Later on in September we’ll be adventuring on campus, lunching, and getting ready for October by Oktoberfesting! Completing our fabulous October will be a traditional wiener roast with pumpkin carving, and a Halloween costume party. And November? Lunch again!

We’ll meet at 6:00 PM and carpool from the CVS parking lot in Country Fair to Gibson City for Oktoberfest at the Bayern Stube, the best German restaurant in the area. Celebrate fall with us! We’ll have wieners, s’mores, chili, and Curtis Orchard apple cider and doughnuts. We’ll also be providing pumpkins, designs, and tools for carving (prizes awarded) as well as decorating for the upcoming adults-only Halloween Party. Bring a beverage of your choice if you so desire.
