Retirees
Identification. Many of the benefits and privileges accorded to
UIUC retirees and their families require them to display the Retirees
I-Card. The I-Card may be obtained on the 2nd floor of the Illini Union
Bookstore (IUB). For those who may not have been on Campus in the last
few years, IUB is on the corner of Wright and Daniel Street. It is
depicted in the photograph below.

Benefits Center and Office of Academic Human Resources.
Two of the facilities that may offer
information of interest to retirees are located on the 4th Floor of 807
S. Wright St. The entrance lobby is located on the north end of
the Illini Union Bookstore building.
Retirees may cash personal checks for up to $100 and purchase
traveler's checks free of charge in Room 100 of the Henry
Administration Building.
The Information Desk, located just inside the North entrance to the
Illini Union, offers travel discounts for a number of destinations. In
addition, all Illini Union facilities are available to retirees. Also,
tickets to events sponsored by the Faculty/Staff Social Committee may
be purchased in Room 284.
Retirees and their spouses may purchase passes for the use of Campus
recreational facilities by presenting their I-Card in Room 100 of the
Intramural Physical Education Building (IMPE).
Retirees may purchase tickets to KCPA events at senior citizen
prices. Also, Intermezzo Cafe menus are available via e-mail. www.krannertcenter.com
