The Urban League’s Priorites

The Necessary
The Urban League needs six computers with Windows XP installed (license provided by the Urban League) with the additions of Adobe, Spyware programs, Microsoft Office 2003 (license provided by the Urban League) and Norton Anti-virsus (license provided by the Urban League). Also, the Urban League has a printer (a HP 4352 TN), so the proper drivers will have to be installed so the computers can use it. Our site coordinator, Donna, has also emailed us a list of the computers that need hardware upgrades.

The Wanted
There were other programs that may need to be installed either by us or at a later date. One program requires 265 MB RAM and a certain allotment of hard drive space. There was also a mention of adding some “parental controls” for filtering and to prevent users from downloading music.
