Our group created a remix of the Ubuntu 8.04 Linux distribution to meet the needs of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church and the greater East Saint Louis community. We carried out a rapid prototyping approach to develop a system that would be attractive and functional for our community partner.  The lab we installed included eight computers running this customized distribution equipped with an office suite, educational games, web/software development capability, religious resources, media editing, and accessibility options. Our group also built a single LAMP server for the East St. Louis Action Research Project.
