The customized Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church Linux distribution is based on Ubuntu 8.04. In the customization of the distribution for MSMBC, we attempted to eliminate common frustrations that occur when switching from Windows or Mac operating systems to a Linux distribution.  These features included support for Windows fonts, flash players for video, and automatic installation of Firefox internet browser.  More specific additions included Wbar (similar to the “Dock” on the Mac OS), Bible software, and a customized log-on screen and desktop background.
