The Steps the Organization Needs to Accomplish Prior to Computer Delivery

First, if the organization agrees to switch the two rooms, they will need to relocate the computers from the large room to the small room. This will include clearing the counter top areas in the large room and also re-locating the locked cabinet to make room for additional countertops.

Secondly, in order to fit up to ten computers in the larger space, the organization will need to install additional counter-top space. We were told that the church Pastor might be able to accomplish this. We plan to deliver the computers and additional hardware the weekend of July 17/18 and the additional counter space will need to be finished so GSLIS can work with the Teen Tech Team to begin setting up the lab.

Thirdly, in order to accomplish many of our goals for the computer lab, it would benefit all involved if the members of the Teen Tech Team had a few previous lessons in basic computer hardware trouble shooting. We thought that Mike Adams could provide excellent instruction and lessons in this area prior to our arrival with the delivery of the computers the weekend of July 17/18.
