1. Oct. 6: first group meeting to work on project. Yet, owing to room 52 had class, we only Deban two computers and labeled another 5 gateway computer for Summit project.

2. Oct. 10, working on 4 computers. Two computers had hardware problems:one need to replace a DVD hard drive whereas another one the connection to DVD hard drive was dropped. After fixed the two computers, we debaned 4 computers.

3. Oct.13, installed Linux Mint’s Os in 4 computers. Only 2 computers successfully installed.

4. Oct.17 installed Linux Mint’s Os in 1 computer successfully. Debaned another 2 computers.

5. Oct.24 installed Linux Mint’s OS in 2 computers. Found 5 computers which could be installed Windows Xp. Two of them worked while another 3′s hardware had problems and were in need of repair.

6. Oct. 29: repaired 3 computers which could install Windows XP.After repair them, we also debaned them.

6. Oct. 31 install Window XP OS and educational software in 4 computer. There seemed to be some hard drive problem in three XP computers because no sound was heard from any of them even though we used earphone.

7. Nov. 3 check Linux Mint’s OX. Found some of the computers could not hear the sound even if we used earphone. Also, two of the Linux’s computers could not show the video of Youtube

8. Nov.7 installed Windows XP’s OS and educational software in 2 computers.

9. Nov.9 and 10 check Linux Mint’s OS and googled the software for sound effect.

10. Nov. 10: Checked Linux Mint’s OS and configured the desk top, bookmarked educational programs which second chance and Morning star had posed on Wiki.

11. Nov. 11 configured the desk top of Linux Mint and bookmarked educational programs. Installed the adobe reader and adobe flash drive. After installing the adobe flash drive, sound could be heard.

12. Nov. 13:Configured Linux Mint desk top and bookmarked educational problems. Double checked XP computers.

14. Nov. 14: Double checked all the computers and found two Xp’s educational programs had not yet installed. Started to make cables.
