Organization’s Priorities for Implementation of Technology

The priority at St. Luke’s was to remove the old, outdated computers and replace them with newer ones. The new computers will have USB ports, Windows 2000 OS, and educational and word processing software. The lab currently has a printer that we will hook up to the network, and a scanner that will be hooked up to one computer.

Resources Available to Implement Technology at the Organization

At St. Luke’s the church will pay for internet access and they have a printer and scanner.

Resources GSLIS Will Need to Provide.

At St. Luke’s we will supply 11 computers running Windows 2000 Professional. Also we will have a disk to load additional programs for the youth and adults. Once the Internet is working we will install an internet filtering program (Open DNS) to block adult content.
