Organization’s Priorities for Implementation of Technology
After our meeting with Ms. Jackson, we believe the organization’s priorities for the implementation of technology are:
-Help Second Chance Shelter residents develop basic computer literacy and provide tools to assist in the job search process by installing computers with Internet access, links to local resources and communication tools, productivity applications (such as word processing software), and online tutorials in job skills such as typing.
-Support the educational needs of the students at the Second Chance Shelter by providing Internet access, educational games/software, and word processing applications.
-Configure the computers in a way that they will remain functional and secure with a minimal level of administrative oversight.
