Overview of Organization

• New Life Community Church’s moto is “…purpose driven.” They are a comparably young church in East St. Louis with a young and upbeat pastor, Kendall Granger. The church has around 375 parishioners and hosts three services on Sunday with the hope of adding an additional “hip-hop service” on Saturday nights for the youth of the church. They have a wonderful building that includes a large chapel, a youth church for bible study with Biblical scenes painted on the walls, a large computer room with Internet, a play space for youth, and a meeting room for after service activities. The are a bright and upbeat church with a lot of dedication to the community and desire to provide for the needs of the community.

History of Organization

• Being a young church in East St. Louis, the New Life Community Church seems like an established organization that has been working well beyond its years of service. This is due to the pastor, Kendall Granger and an associate who oversees the technology, Demetrius Hampton.

Summary of Organization’s Vision, Mission, and Goals

• New Life Community Church’s vision is to provide for its quickly growing parish and the needs of the community. They want to expand a literacy program, job training, youth activities, bible study, and computer training: drawing applications, word processing, programming, and graphics editing. They are looking to expand the chapel in an adjacent lot and turn the existing chapel into the youth chapel. They would also expand the downstairs into a daycare and preschool.
