Technology
Organization’s Priorities for Implementation of Technology
As the instructor for the computer classes at Mt. Zion and the administrator of the computers, Ms. Scott’s priorities for the computers are to ensure that existing computers are in working order and that the eight new computers have software that includes a word processing program (she would prefer Microsoft Works), Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Internet connection/browser, an email client, and a program for creating publications like brochures, flyers, resumes, invitations, and certificates. She also wants virus/security protection.
Resources Available to Implement Technology at the Organization
Ms. Scott and Mrs. Anne Turner are available to assist us with implementation (and make sure the room is open for us). Ms. Scott also mentioned that there were three computer technicians available through the church (but we don’t think they will be helping us with implementation).
Resources Organization Can Provide for Technology Implementation

- 3 audio cables
- Mice (5) – this may be one more than necessary
- Keyboards (5) – this may be one more than necessary
