Organization’s Priorities for Implementation of Technology

-Enough computers (6 to 8) made available to enable small-group work and learning in five rooms: the upstairs conference room, the downstairs great room, and three of the downstairs side rooms (off the great room).
-Computers loaded with the operating systems and software necessary to assist students and tutors in the after-school program.
-Internet access available on each computer.

Resources Organization Can Provide for Technology Implementation

-Work stations for the computers: tables/chairs or mobile carts (if they want some stations to be more easily mobile).
-Wall tracks to hide Internet cables.
-Possibly some Windows XP licenses, depending on their decision for the operating system.

Resources GSLIS Will Provide for Technology Implementation

-6 to 8 computers
-Operating systems and basic software for each station
-Necessary cabling, switches, network cards.
