Monday, March 27th, 2006

Dear Timothy and Allie,

We are happy to report that we are moving towards our goal of establishing a new computer lab for the Mt. Calvary Community Outreach! We have outlined our goals and priorities. Please review our plan and let us know what you think. We value your ideas and welcome your input.

Time can play a factor in any technology upgrade. To this end, we have established a list of priorities. Ideally, we will accomplish each of these priorities. Minimally, we will leave instructions for the completion of all tasks.

Priorities are listed in descending order:

1. Install ten Pentium III computers with specified software. These computers will be hooked into the network an we would leave instructions for mapping to the Server.

2. Server installed, setup and running

3. Map the new lab to the Server.

4. Map the existing lab to the Server.

We have a couple of questions regarding Hardware and Software:

1. Have you ordered the Microsoft XP license and the new harddrive. Will they be delivered to Urbana?

2. Do you want us to research the Print Server?

3. Has the Alcohol license been located?

Below is the software/hardware that you expressed a desire for. Please let us know of any changes.

1. Windows XP, with server computer on Windows 2000
2. CD-Rom/DVD-ROM drives
3. Anti-virus/spyware software
4. OpenOffice
5. “Clean” typing tutors
6. Educational software the site provided
7. Composer – website building software
