Monticello Nursing Home has many different programs/initiatives and the students worked on the nursing home (in the activity room); at Maple Point (living room (+existing computer in library)); and Faith in Action ( in Julie’s office)

History of Organization

The nursing home has been open for 35 years. It has 100 residents, 31 of whom are alzheimer patients.

Maple Point is a new assisted living facility for individuals 65 and over. The facility has 35 beds.

Faith in Action is an outreach program for Piatt County Nursing home. It coordinates 300+ volunteers to help seniors stay in their homes longer by meeting various needs.
