The Steps the Organization Needs to Accomplish Prior to Computer Delivery

• Need to be sure that there is wireless connectivity in the activity room and the second living room.
• Keep the computer in the library where it is.
• Keep the table and chairs already there in the second living room.
• Provide a drawer under the table for the keyboard to make the computer in the library more comfortable to use.

The Steps the Project Team Needs to Accomplish Prior to Computer Delivery

• Research fun and interesting software for seniors.  Draft, print, and bind hard copies of instructions for troubleshooting the computer and popular programs.  Save a version on the computers.  Prepare training in general.
• Get the computer up and running with the fun software.  Add software to library computer.  Write instructions and prepare training specific to the webcam and TV as monitor set up.
• Network the computer to the printer.  First, figure out if that’s possible.  Then, plan how to do it.

Potential Risks That Might Hinder Fully Accomplishing the Plan

• Continued Use- One of our priorities is to place computers that will be used. The residents and staff are very hesitant about the computers currently in place. We want to provide senior friendly activities for the computers: games, email, pictures, skype, facebook, storytelling. For each activity we want to provide a user-friendly how-to guide in a hard-copy format and in a digital format.
