Plan of Execution

The Steps the Organization Needs to Accomplish Prior to Computer Delivery

  1. Wire room– this must be finished by April 25
    1. 7 gang boxes (see chart for where)-desk
    2. Conduit between secretary’s office and lab to pass the ethernet connection through
    3. 2 dedicated 20 amp circuits
    4. surge protector in circuit box
  2. Review plan proposal from GSLIS Project Team and make revisions ASAP– Finish this by March 26 ideally.
  3. Remove one of the doors to the computer room and put up drywall.

  5. Get right size and shape of tables. Each table must be sturdy enough to handle the weight of 2 monitors, 2 CPUs, and any textbooks or other materials that will be used by 2 computer users. [Note: the CPUs might be placed on the floor, but it is a good idea to ensure that the computer tables can support this additional weight].
  6. Upgrade to high speed internet– this must be finished by April 25.
