Steps our group has completed:

1. Identified 10 computers with CD or DVD-ROMs and HDs for use at LWF
2. DBan-ed HDs
3. Installed Ubuntu OS
4. Physically cleaned the computers, inside and out, and the outside of all peripherals
5. Tested all hard drives and CD-ROM drives
6. Had second meeting with community partners to touch base on remaining issues
7. Chose software for installation
8. Installed software via scripts
9. Determined appropriate legnths and created necessary cables
10. Tested printer
11. Set up computer and peripherals at Living Word

Current work:

1. In communication with Living Word to determine availability in coming weeks and also where other end of cat5 cable is.

Future steps remaining:

1. Identify other end of Cat5 line.
2. Install OpenDNS on network (with help of AB2 at site)
3. Install printer on network (may require help of AB2 at site)

How far our partners have gotten:

1. Tables and chairs in place
2. Electrical wiring is done
3. Cat 5 line strung from lab to where?
4. Signed up for ATT Internet and purchased ATT modem/router
