We used some simple hardware to make the desks on our site personalized and useful. A hook was placed on each to hold the headphones for the computers and a lamented directory of tutorials for PC use.

What next?
This is ultimately the question…
We all hope that Martin will live forever and have the strength to continue his unbelievable schedule for semesters to come.

Community Informatics majors should work more closely with faculty members CI certificates in library school should come with a practicum requirement. The opportunity to help sustain the program should be given to the students pursuing this course work.

I think CI should make itself more exclusive and require faculty student partnership in an advisory relationship.

As for our Park District partnership I would encourage the next group of students to take a look at the repairs to the community center. This relationship could be extended beyond our project. The next set of students should also be encouraged to contact our group if they want to know what it was like to work with our site in particular.
The community center revamping for the park district would be a big undertaking specifically the ceiling leakage issues

The space is very interesting and has a lot of potential. I would encourage the next group to do research about kitchen appliances and reconstruction plans as a way to help the park district work with this building. The Community center could be a huge asset to the park if it were fitted with a working kitchen.
