Organization’s Priorities for Implementation of Technology

The workstation we are going to set up for Eagle’s Nest will make it easier for residents with disabilities to access information and use the computer lab.  Our top priority is to get this new system up and running in the computer lab, so that it will be a good resource for the residents.

While the organization does not currently have any residents with serious disabilities, they are geared towards being a short-term recovery center so they have people coming and going most of the time.  We want to make sure that if a person comes in with a vision or movement disability they will be able to work with the technology mentor and job search helpers that come in to help the men of Eagle’s Nest get back on their feet.

Resources Organization Can Provide for Technology Implementation

1. Organization has a current computer lab with equipment we can use.  However, we should need very little.
