Organization’s Priorities for Implementation of Technology

The Eagle’s Nest will implement computer technology that offers a high degree of security, because it will handle confidential personal and medical records that are needed to coordinate the care of the resident veterans. The computers and their network will also be expected to function as an educational tool: The residents will learn basic employment seeking skills, including resume writing and using job search websites.  The residents will also learn how to use computers and online technology for basic life tasks, such as applying for personal identification documents, housing searches, online banking tools, and other important skills for today that will promote self-sufficiency and independence in the residents.
