April Communications
April 2, 2010 – Adam had email conversations with the local group installing two other Accessibility machines. Updated them on our plan of how the machines will work.
April 1, 2010- Maggie made contact with Dragon Naturally Speaking via email in order to find out if there was any grants or packages that would expedite software delivery and lessen the burden of cost.
April 6, 2010- A representative of Dragon Naturally Speaking’s sales department conferences with Maggie and give the information about the Accessibility project at Eagle’s Nest to Academic sales representative, Carl Fielder.
April 7, 2010- Maggie has two phone conversations with Carl Fielder. He offers to give us three boxes of Dragon Preferred 10, three laminated “cheat sheets,” three how to manuals written specifically for our market, and free tech support for approximate $300.
April 7, 2010- Maggie speaks with Ms. Austin and sends her Mr. Fielder’s information.
April 7, 2010- Maggie emails Mr. Fielder that a UIUC representative will be in touch with him soon.
April 7, 2010- Mr. Fielder responds.
April 17, 2010 – Adam emailed Martin officially asking for a sub-domain with the Metro East Digital website for the Supporting Accessibility Machine documentation.
April 22, 2010 – Martin emailed us confirmation that the SAM subdomain had been created and details of how to access MED website.
April 22, 2010 – Recieved confirmation that ZoomText software has shipped.
April 25, 2010 – Group meeting to discuss Site Map for Accessability Website and divide responsibilities.
April 21, 2010- Maggie emails Mr. Fielder about getting the software before the University officially orders it.
April 22-24, 2010- Maggie continues to try and contact Mr. Fielder.
April 26, 2010- Mr. Fielder writes back to Maggie.
Despite future requests in writing, this is the last time Mr. Fielder writes back to Maggie.
April 28, 2010- Maggie met with Martin to discuss and edit the introduction to the website.
April 30, 2010 – Fei emailed a link to the site template to the group. Maggie and Adam agreed it looked good and made suggestions for what else they would like to see.
April 30, 2010 – Adam emailed local group installing other Accessibility machines asking for details on machine setup.
