Group Update

Hi Martha! Hi Melanie!
How are you both? I hope you are both staying warm, and enjoying this beautiful Fall weather!
I just wanted to inform both of you of our group’s progress so far with Eagle’s Nest. We are moving along quite successfully! We are working on tutorials for basic computer skills (how to use the keyboard/mouse, cut/paste/copy), how to set up an email account, tutorials for administration (anti-virus software), and links to some great resources. Also, we are in the middle of setting up the 18 computers to go into your lab. We are planning to install Windows 2000 for 15 computers and 3 Windows XP computers for the administrators, installing updates, anti-virus software, Open Office, and additional software (typing tutorials).

It certainly sounds as if you are making great strides with the computer lab and the tutorials. Jane, you mentioned that there would be three administrative computers, but we actually need 4: director, secretary and 2 case managers. I hope this will not be something difficult to change.
