LECTURE:  Trunk Show  Janine Burke and Amy Walsh from Blue Underground Studios will present a trunk show and discuss their designing philosophy at the July program meeting.

FRIDAY CLASS:  Around the Block  The workshop will feature the Blue Underground pattern "Around the Block".  This pattern offers options to create the quilt with straight set or on-point log-cabin blocks.  Using 1½” strips you’ll create a 12” block.  Or use 2” strips to create a 15” block.  Although Blue Underground is noted for bright colors in most of their samples, one of the cover pieces uses Civil War reproduction fabrics. During the workshop Amy and Christy will give “mini-seminars” on batting, thread options, notions, and colors. Cost is $40.00 and you will also need to purchase the pattern for $14.  If the class is full, the guild will reimburse attendees a portion of the pattern cost.   For more information, contact:  Kim Lytle or www..blueundergroundstudios.com
