Paseo Boricua Community Library Project

Community Inquiry Lab

The Community Inquiry Lab is a way to connect with people in common inquiry.  It's a way of practicing education both inside and outside of school.   One group of people, SisterNet, use it to develop spiritual health plans and to trade recipes.  Teachers use it to develop and trade lesson plans.  The possibilities are limitless.  One way of looking at it is as a way to learn, solve problems and grow... together.  All of these links take you to different parts of the Inquiry Page.

Our Units:  Click here to see many of them.  See below for some exciting new ones.

Who was Joan Nicklin, for whom the Puerto Rican Cultural Center's "Third World Collection" is named?

HOT!  Key Points in the Grant Application Requirements of the Department of Commerce's Technology Opportunities Program (TOP).  Bharat Mehra

This unit represents a collaboration of Ricardo Garcia and two librarians on the Urbana campus, Al Kagan and Sue Searing:

What library collections devoted to the Third World exist, and how are they cataloged?

This provides a start for this inquiry. We can build it up little by little, with tips, ideas and info anybody finds. as authors, Ricardo and Ann  can edit it. Other people can "spin off" this unit to add more to it, or just add their comments at the bottom, once they've registered to use the  inquiry page by filling out the simple member profile form.
