Topic: WORK it out: Different ways to remain in or re-enter the workforce after becoming a parent
American workers are looking for better ways to balance work and family: part-time, flex-time,
consulting, telecommuting, moonlighting, or starting their own business are just a few options.
This month, we will discuss some of the ways parents in our community have found their balance.
We’ll also talk about the skills and experience you can gain while you’re out of the workforce
that will help you re-enter when the time is right. Our special guest will be Ms. Chantelle Walker,
creator and owner of the PBJ Company (www.pbjcompany.com). PBJ strives to connect employers and
employees in unique, family-friendly ways.
The Champaign County Chapter meets on the
2nd Tuesday of each month
7:00 - 9:00 PM
Visitors are welcome; no need to RSVP.
