Who We Are at the Illinois Disciples Foundation

People active within the Illinois Disciples Foundation are committed to denouncing violence, working for peace with justice, and speaking truth to power. We stand in solidarity with those struggling for justice around the world and employ nonviolent direct action when working for change. We care for and affirm the gifts of all people, with special regard to those who are oppressed or disenfranchised. We are continually clarifying the understanding of our purpose as opportunities offer.
