Custom Error Pages

If you have your own domain name (e.g. urbanafreelibrary.org) or a subdomain (e.g. garden-gate.prairienet.org), you can customize the look of the error page that visitors will see if they have entered a URL that does not exist.

For instance, here is Urbana Free Library's customized Page Not Found page.

Simply create a page called missing.html that matches the look and feel of your Web site and upload it to your main Web directory. You can test it by trying a nonsense string: http://www.mysite.org/ladidah
