About the Help Book Online

The Help Book Online is a comprehensive directory of human and social services in Champaign County, a project of First Call for Help at Family Service. The online version was developed with assistance from HelpSource, a joint project of the Prairienet Community Network and the HelpSource Consortium.

The shorter print version of the Help Book has been a joint project of the The News-Gazette and Family Service for several years.

First Call for Help is funded by the Champaign County Mental Health Board, the United Way, Cunningham Township and donations from local businesses, agencies and individuals and receives support in kind through HelpSource .
