Champaign County Home, Community and Education

OBJECTIVES
· To bind together and support the units of the Champaign County Home, Community and Education; hereafter known as CCHCE.
· To bring about a better understanding of the relationship of the
home, community, state and nation.
· To speak for and further the interests of homemakers, families, and communities.
· To cooperate with and support IAHCE's goals and objectives.
· To promote and support activities so that every home may be
economically sound, mechanically convenient, physically healthful,
spiritually inspiring and founded upon mutual affection and respect.

MEMBERSHIP
Individuals may become members of the Champaign County Home, Community and Education by subscribing to the constitution and bylaws of this Association and by paying annual membership dues. The Champaign County Home, Community and Education does not discriminate by race, color, national origin, sex, or creed.

UNITS
Champaign County Home, Community and Education has over 20 units through out Champaign Co. Each Unit meets once a month to teach a "lesson" given to us by the University of Illinois Home Extension Office. As well as met with other members for sharing and socialization. See Units for area and days.

ACTIVITIES Monthly
HCE has a Craft Club that meets the first Wednesday of each month at the Farm Bureau Extension Auditorium. Members of HCE and a membership fee for joining the craft club.

EVERY MONTH THROUGH OUT THE YEAR
Sewing Day Project, comforters or hospital gowns and other items used and needed by local groups watch the "CHATTER" for time and place.
