Mailing Lists

The Prairie Greens were founded on the principle of democratic participation. We encourage our membership and the public to regularly voice their opinions so that everyone involved in the Green movement may benefit from the free flow of ideas and feedback. To assist in this endeavor we have created several levels of communication.

It is strongly encouraged that people break out detailed organizing discussion to the appropriate organizing lists so as to ease the burden on the main discussion list but that all issues eventually make their way back to the main discussion list so that everyone gets a chance to be involved.

You should sign up for all of the lists that you are interested in and feel free to drop off of the ones that have too much traffic. How these lists are used is up to you. Treat them nicely! ;)

OPENNESS: All of these lists are open subscriptions. None of the lists should be perceived as a "special club," "coterie," or "cadre" or any other nasty hierarchy related structure. These lists exist to facilitate communication among anyone interested in communicating while reducing the amount of unwanted email received by others.

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT PRIVACY: These lists are completely open. Anyone can post to the lists, anyone can join the lists, and anyone who joins can read the archives online. If you do not want people to know you are subscribed to the lists you can hide yourself by visiting your personal options page.
