Board of Directors

GPF-PGV is governed by a nine member Board of Directors plus three biological advisors. Board members are elected by the GPF-PGV membership for three year terms at the annual fall membership meeting, while the three biological advisors serve indefinitely. One-third of the board (3) is elected each year. Officers are elected from within the Board each year. In addition to serving on the Board, Board members are asked to serve on one or more of the six committees within GPF-PGV. All members are encouraged to serve on a committee.

GPF-PGV is guided by a set of by-laws. Our Constitution and By-Laws were revised and updated in January 2007 to reflect our expanded mission of conservation, stewardship, and education about all natural areas in east-central Illinois rather than just prairie. You can download this document here.
