XIII. POS FOSTER HOME LICENSING SUPERVISOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

a. Monitor Protective Plan

Upon receiving a CFS 596-E, SACWIS Intake Report / Protective Plan - Licensed Foster Home from the A&I licensing representative or supervisor, the POS foster home licensing supervisor shall assign a licensing representative to monitor the Protective Plan, if one was developed, in accordance with the monitoring schedule provided on the CFS 596-E.

The POS foster home licensing supervisor shall ensure that the licensing representative documents each monitoring visit on the CFS 597-C, Licensing Monitoring Record, and submits a copy of each CFS 597-C to the A&I licensing representative within 3 days of each monitoring visit.

b. Provide Licensing Record

The POS foster home licensing supervisor shall send a complete copy of the licensing record within 5 days when requested to do so by the A&I licensing representative

c. Direct "Stand Alone" Licensing Complaint Investigation or Monitoring Visit

When instructed to do so in the CFS 596-F, SACWIS Intake Report / Protective Plan - Licensed Day Care Home, the POS foster home licensing supervisor shall assign a POS licensing representative to:

· conduct a "stand alone" licensing complaint investigation; or

· conduct a monitoring visit within 30 days or 60 days (as indicated in the CFS 596 I).

The POS foster home licensing supervisor shall review and approve all documentation prepared by the POS licensing representative.

The POS foster home licensing supervisor shall ensure that the POS licensing representative submits copies of all documentation to the A&I licensing representative as required in these Procedures.

d. Direct Follow-Up Activities

Within 3 days of receiving a CFS 596-J, Notice of Investigation Results - Licensed POS Foster Home, the POS foster home licensing supervisor shall direct the POS licensing representative to do the following activities as indicated in the CFS 596-J:

· continue monitoring a Protective Plan;

· develop a written corrective plan and monitoring schedule, incorporating recommendations submitted by the A&I licensing representative; and/or

· prepare an Enforcement Packet.

The POS foster home licensing supervisor shall review and approve all documentation prepared by the POS licensing representative.

The POS foster home licensing supervisor shall ensure that the POS licensing representative submits copies of all documentation to the A&I licensing representative as required in these Procedures.
