NOTE: The payment items listed below are limited to children who are receiving the following board payment type service codes: 0101, 0103, 0106 and 0107, 0115, 0151, 0152, 0153, 0154, 0701, 0704, 0705, 0801, 0804, 0805 and wards in DHS facilities. For all other type service codes these items are included in the contractual rate. The maximum amounts allowable for the items listed below are contained in Appendix A.

Instructions: Camp fees may be authorized for children in placement when such is seen as essential for the child's social development. Camp includes day camp. See Appendix A (IV) for amounts.

Instructions: The need for clothing must be documented in the form of a written recommendation from the camp and kept on file at the Regional Office. Only items required by the camp should be purchased. See Appendix A (IV) for amounts.

Instructions: Camp supplies may be authorized for activities which are not included in camp fee. See Appendix A (IV) for amounts.
d) Camp Transportation |

Instructions: Transportation expenditures are allowable only for transportation to and from camp at the prevailing rate. Requests for payment to be submitted by the vendor. If foster parents must provide transportation by personal automobile, reimbursement may be made in accordance with DCMS and DCFS Travel Regulations.

Instructions: Provides an overnight summer camping experience to Department wards, ages 7 through 16, including programs involving swimming, camp craft, nature hiking and arts and crafts. See Appendix A (IV) for rate.
