It's often difficult for children to adjust to the pressures and upheavals homelessness can cause. With that fact in mind, CWT established its Children's Program in 1999. Our Children's Program Coordinator works alongside mothers and kids to create a stable, child-friendly environment at the shelter. The Coordinator plans fun and educational projects for kids of all ages, monitors a playtime group, offers tutoring assistance and arranges field trips.
