Welcome to the
St. Jude Catholic Worker House!

The Catholic Worker Movement, founded in 1933, is grounded in a firm belief in the God-given dignity of every human person.

Today over 175 Catholic Worker communities remain committed to nonviolence, voluntary poverty, prayer, and hospitality for the homeless, exiled, hungry, and forsaken. Catholic Workers continue to protest injustice, war, racism, and violence of all forms.

The St. Jude Catholic Worker House follows these principles by providing housing and food for those in need, speaking out against social injustice, and doing what we can to help those in our community.

The house is currently full--with no space even on the couches!  It is not a good time to be poor and homeless
