Does my child need to learn how to skate before joining CUYHA?

CUYHA Hockey League offer young hockey players the chance to develop at their own pace and combine skill development with team play as they are introduced them to the game. 

We have recommended in the past if your child has never skated to first put them through the U. of I. beginner Learn to Skate program. The more comfortable your child is on skates, the more comfortable your child will be in our program.
