The CUYHA fee pays for ice arena rental, tournament costs and related operating expenses. House league players pay a lower fee than travel team players because they receive less ice time (counting both practice time and home games) and have no tournament costs. The USA Hockey fee (USAH is the national governing body for amateur hockey), pays for national registration, a subscription to American Hockey magazine, insurance, and other benefits.
