Members of travel teams have about two hours of practice ice time per week, usually consisting of an hour of power skating and an hour of team practice time, plus frequent weekend games at home or on the road. Some of our practice and home game ice time is at the ice arena in Danville.

CUYHA is a member of the Central Illinois Hockey League, which also includes associations from Springfield, Decatur, Pekin, Peoria and Quad Cities. Travel teams play 10 games per year against other CIHL teams and about 30-40 games against teams from Chicago, St Louis, Indianapolis, and their suburbs.
