2008 Miss Champaign County Fair Queen Pageant Raffle Ticket information: Each contestant will be asked to sell raffle ticket booklets (6 tickets for $5.00 or each ticket for $2.00). You will receive your raffle booklets at the orientation. Deadline of selling all 50 books will be July 10th (the 1st. rehearsal) This drawing will be by the 2008 Queen on the last night of the Fair - July 26th at the tractor pull. You may turn in the money anytime prior to July 10th- - It’s best to get this done early. Incentive to selling all your raffle books: Each contestant will receive $25.00 for selling all your books. If the tickets are not completely sold you will receive a % of the $25.00 of what you sell. If you would be crowned Queen and did not sell all your raffle tickets you would also receive a % of approx $700 or the total allotted for the Queen. (example: If you sold $110 of the $250, which is 44% you would receive 44% of $25 or $11.00) or if you were crowned Queen you would get 44% of $700 or $308.00. If all the books sell - the prizes at the pageant will be approximately as follows: Queen Approx. $700-750 (depending on how many contestants this could be more) 1st. runner-up $150 2nd runner-up $125 3rd runner-up $100 Miss Congeniality $50 all non finalist (if all tickets were sold will again receive) $25 If you sell all of your tickets you are guaranteed $50 Please start selling them as soon as you receive the packet - don’t wait until the last minute. Give them to your parents and friends to help you sell the booklets and invite them to the pageant and the Champaign Co. Fair Jul 18 - 26. Have fun and enjoy being a contestant.
