Chapter welcomes visitors We're glad to host a tour on
one of our many trails. Volunteers can point out the more interesting
and unusual birds, animals, insects and plants at Bremer Sanctuary, plus
talk about the many projects and programs we have at the Sanctuary.
Upcoming Events! Saturday, June 7, Birdwalk & Breakfast! It'll be time to get up with the birds! We'll set off from the barn at 7 a.m. for a leisurely birdwalk led by experienced Chapter birders. (But you don't need to be an expert to join us.) Then we'll return to the barn at 8:30 a.m. for breakfast. So, rise and shine!
Saturday, July 12, is the date of our annual Prairie Wildflower Walk. We'll have guides to help identify the flowers in bloom and will leave the barn at 8 a.m., the best time of the day. Bring your cameras!
No meeting in August
Saturday, September 6 - is the day of one of the chapter's most popular events, the annual Hummingbird Festival. Vern will be back to band the birds from 9 a.m. to noon. Bring your kids and grandkids, also your grandparents. Everybody loves Hummingbirds!

Hillsboro is just about an hour's drive south of Springfield to give you an idea of where we are, and the sanctuary is very easy to find. (See map below) Watch for details
