Hickory Hills Chapter welcomes visitors every day of the year!
Here are some of our upcoming scheduled visits. Book your group today.
We're glad to host a tour on one of our many trails. Volunteers can point out the more interesting and unusual birds, animals, insects and plants at Bremer Sanctuary, plus talk about the many projects and programs we have at the Sanctuary.
We appreciate a call well in advance of a group tour so we can be better prepared. Leave a message through our "Contact Us" page.
For our older visitors, we have a tractor drawn trailer that can be used to give even those who have trouble walking an opportunity to enjoy this beautiful wildlife sanctuary.
Thanks. Hope to see you soon out at Bremer!
Upcoming Events!
Saturday, October 18 - We collect seeds in the morning beginning at 10 a.m. (there should be a good crop this year) and then we'll have a wiener roast for all the good workers. Join us. It's fun and you'll learn more about native flowers and grasses.
Saturday, November 15 - It's our annual visit from IAS Exec Tom Clay. We take time to sum up the activities of the chapter during the past year and report to the membership. Everyone is urged to attend and as an extra incentive to get you there, we'll be serving coffee and cookies.
December - No meeting. Happy Holidays!
Watch for our initial schedule of events for 2009. It's going to be an even better year than 2008!
