The lenses of the Kodak Reflex Camera are truly "twin" lenses;
optically similar, they form a superior team for viewing and taking
pictures. Unique in their field, each of these lenses has four elements
to carry out corrections to a high degree, and each is Lumenized. Ground-glass
image brightness is unexcelled, due to the Lumenizinga nd the fixed
f /3.5 aperture of the view-finder lens. The equally fast, adjustable-aperture
taking lens permits the wide range of picture taking even under poor
lighting conditions. At commonly used lens-to-subject distances, the
performance of the taking lens approaches that of the famed Kodak Ektar
Lenses. Sharp focus is assured throughout the focusing range by the
positive, geared coupling of the view-finder lens and the taking lens.
Rotating the front mount of either automatically rotates the other and
keeps the focus of the lenses identical. An automatic depth-of-field
indicator and an auxiliary infrared focusing mark are provided.
